Dr. Terry White, DVM
Dr. Terry White started his veterinary career in the Mid-West after graduating from The Ohio State University, School of Veterinary Medicine. He moved to the Pacific Northwest about 10 years ago to be closer to family. During his years of practice, Dr. White has enjoyed a diverse career in small animal medicine including practice development and practice management. His experiences have ranged from starting/owning smaller clinics to being the medical director of the largest, multi-specialist practice in the Portland area. A significant portion of his career has been devoted towards emergency medicine and surgery. Dr. White enjoys the interactions with both patients and clients as he desires to see the very best for all. One of his many strengths ishaving open and honest conversations, focusing on client concerns for their pet and alerting owners to additional areas of concern regarding their furry family member. He enjoys all aspects of medicine and surgery but especially likes to work with patients who have acute issues and emergencies. Over the years he has been, and looks forward to continuing to be, a mentor for the next generation of veterinarians. Dr. White has been married to his wife for 44 years and together they have 4 children and 11 grandchildren. His draw to the Upper Valley of Hood River is to live next to some of those grandchildren and enjoy that relationship. In the past Dr. White has had a variety of pets and farm animals of his own, from horses to cattle to goats [he loves goats!], to chickens, cats, and dogs. Fond memories of those relationships are what drives Dr. White to help clients have as healthy and wonderful relationship with their pets as is possible. In his off time, Terry enjoys time with family, good wine, playing cards and the evening sunsets
of Mt Hood.
