Our Team

Dr. Katy Holmes

Dr. Katy Holmes is originally from Colorado and received her veterinary degree from North Carolina State University. She has previously worked in emergency medicine, as well as general practice. Her purchase of All Animal Care Clinic in March of 2015 fulfilled a dream of moving to the beautiful Pacific Northwest. She is certified in acupuncture and dedicated to the healthy longevity of her patients. She has special interests in healthy aging, nutrition, and ultrasound, and believes that client education is her biggest tool in keeping her patients in tip-top shape. She consults for local animal-related non-profit organizations. Personal interests include wild foods, gardening, and enjoying our beautiful state's outdoor offerings. She lives in Hood River with her husband and Italian Spinoni, Bruno and Caccia, as well as 3 laying chickens, Jane Gray, Dot, and Chatty Chickie Hollandaise.

Sarah Breeze

Sarah is a Hood River local, and Certified Veterinary Technician at All Animal Care Clinic.  Sarah graduated from OSU with a Bachelor of Science in 2004.  After wintering in Baja, Mexico for years she decided to pursue a passion and earned a 2-year Veterinary Technology degree from Portland Community College in 2012.  When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her own animals, yoga, playing soccer, and roller derby. Sarah lives in Hood River with her 2 rescue dogs and 2 rescue cats.

Melissa Troglin

Melissa moved to the Columbia Gorge in 2011. She worked at a hotel locally before following her passion for animals and becoming the customer service representative at All Animal Care Clinic in 2016. Due to her great skills and knowledge, she was promoted to Office Guru in 2018. Through AACC, she rescued her physically challenged kitten, Pixel, who joined the family with Melissa, her boyfriend Tristan, and their other cat, Freya.

Viri Cortez

Viri was born and raised in the Columbia Gorge. She graduated from Central Washington University with a BS in Biology and Anthropology. Her interest in science led her to pursue volunteer opportunities in the veterinary field throughout college and more recently at two national fish hatcheries in White Salmon. Viri loves to spend time outdoors and with friends and family. In her free time, she can be found cuddling up to her two adorable Holland Lop bunnies.

Iris Flores

Iris was born and raised right here in Hood River. Her interests in animal health and community engagement have led to volunteer work and her current pursuit: her Veterinary Technician certification. She currently lives with her son, Bohdi, a Labrador Retriever.
